The Homeforswaps Chart is :
A mutual commitment for both accommodation exchangers, because we all have the same objective: to have successful exchanges!
- Thee xchanger wishes to spend a trouble free holiday. This will be possible if the description matches the accommodation corresponds to the quality of the accommodation.
- The owner wishes to exchange out his accommodation to people who will appreciate and take care of the objects that are important to him.
The Chart of Trust protects all members and guarantees a sound holiday exchange.

You are an exchanger? You must:
1. Give accurate information
You are required to give exact information of any nature to Homeforswaps and its members.
2. Guarantee that the accommodation's description is accurate
The description requested on Homeforswaps.com is a detailed one. We believe that this is essential for a good understanding between exchangers.
Your first and foremost obligation is to offer an accommodation that exactly matches its description on the site, having no latent defects that would hinder normal and proper use. (See Article 12721 of the Civil Code)
3. Guarantee that you are advertising a quality product and offer assistance in case the exchanger encounters any problems during his stay
The accommodation must be clean and in good condition. Amenities must work correctly.
You must make sure, that during his stay, the exchanger has peaceful use of the accommodation and offer assistance during his stay. The exchanger must not be troubled by appliances being out of order or by the neighbourhood.

4. Guarantee the accuracy of your availability schedule
You declare that your schedule is regularly updated. It is important for the exchangers' search results.

5. Write a testimonial after the renter's stay

You are liable for all damages caused during your stay (with the exception when it is due to a normal wear and tear or to a defect) and for any hazards due to your presence (fire, flooding), against which you must be insured.
(This is the case in France where an "assurance protection civil" is necessary. You should check with your insurer if your personal insurance covers this in France before departure).
